Through study and application of many
improvement methods we have discovered underlying principles
that assure the methods achieve the desired results. Business
Productivity Consulting has integrated these principles into the
Productivity Principle Roadmap (PPR), a proprietary
system that leads an improvement effort to a successful
destination. Applying the principles of PPR dramatically
increases the success rate of process improvement.
BPC also offers training of your staff on
the Synergy Improvement Methodology and the
Productivity Principle Roadmap so they can understand how to
do successful productivity improvement. Business Productivity
Consulting can help your organization through training or
consulting services.
The 4 Improvement
Methods used:
- Lean – an approach modeled after
Toyota’s process improvement methods, emphasizes process
speed plus improvements in cost and quality
- Six Sigma – a quality initiative
driving for low defects and better customer satisfaction. It
leverages a number of TQM tools
- Theory of Constraints – a process
improvement approach developed by Eliyahu M. Goldratt author
of “The Goal”, “It’s Not Luck”, “Critical Chain” and other
books. This approach helps to target improvement efforts at
the place in the system that will produce the biggest
results for the organization.
- Deming – the statistician and quality
expert that went to Japan after World War II and helped the
Japanese develop a quality culture that has brought many of
their companies world recognition for quality.
